Q: When is check-in for the General Skills and Select camps?
A: All camper’s check-in on Monday from 8:00 am- 8:45 am. In the lobby of the Greene Complex at Palm Beach Atlantic University.
Q: When is check-in for the Elite Camp?
A: All Elite camper’s check-in on Wednesday from 4:00 pm- 4:45 pm in the lobby of the Greene Complex at Palm Beach Atlantic University.
Q: When is pick-up for the Commuters?
A: Commuters are picked up at 3:00 each day. Commuters for the Elite Camp will be picked up at 9:00 pm on the 1st day and 3:00 pm on days 2 & 3. Elite Camp concludes at 12:00 noon on the final day.
Q: I am thinking about registering my daughter for volleyball camp and want to know which camp to register her for?
A: Make sure to look at the descriptions on the "Camps Offered" link. Each one has a detailed description of the skill level needed for each camp.
Q: Since there are all different ages and skill levels, how will my daughter be grouped at your camp?
A: All campers will be grouped together according to age and skill level and moved around on the first morning of camp to find the appropriate grouping.
Q: If my daughter is just beginning to play volleyball, which camp will be best for her?
A: The General Skills Camp is the only session appropriate for beginners as it focuses on skill development and technique and your daughter will receive more personalized instruction. General Skills Camp places campers on courts with campers of similar skill levels. General Skills Camp include beginners and those with limited experience.
Q: Can my daughter stay overnight?
A: We do not have an overnight option available. Campers coming from outside the area are encouraged to look into the many hotel options in West Palm Beach! We would highly recommend the Hyatt Place West Palm Beach which is conveniently located one block from campus and a short walk from the gym.
Q: Are meals provided?
A: Lunch is provided each day but the final day of the Elite Camp.
Q: Will there be a camp store again this year?
A: We do feature a convenient concession/merchandise stand for our on-campus camps!
Q: What should my daughter bring?
A: A full letter that contains information on what to pack is included as an attachment to your confirmation email.
Q: When does the final session end on the last day?
A: For the General Skills & Select Camps, campers will need to be picked up at 3:00 pm. Elite Campers need to be picked up at 12:00 noon.
Q: My daughter signed up as a commuter; what time do I need to pick her up?
A: Please pick her up at 3:00 p.m. daily. There is not an alternative to extend this time. The last day of the Elite Camp ends at 12 pm.
Q: Can parents come and watch during camp?
A: Parents are permitted to attend any session during our on-campus camps.
Q: Is it possible to make any changes to my daughter's registration form after it is submitted?
A: Yes! All you need to do is login to your Camp Network account. Check here to access your registration form, pay any remaining balances, or see any camp documents.
Q: Can I change the week or session I signed my camper to attend?
A: There is limited court space but if there is availability we will gladly change it for you. Please email Coach Walters for changes in camp sessions/ dates.
Q: When is the balance due on camp sessions?
A: All balances must be paid in full by July 1, 2023. Reminder emails will be sent for campers with outstanding balances.
Q: What is the refund policy should I need to cancel, or should the camp have to be cancelled?
A refund (minus the registration deposit of $100) will be provided if cancellation occurs prior to July 1st. After July 1st, all sales are final. Should the camp have to be cancelled by the camp director for any reason a full refund will be issued.
Q: Can you give me more information on the virtual clinics?
A: Upon registration for our virtual clinics a .pdf file with all of the information on the clinic will be attached to the confirmation email. You will need a computer/smartphone with high speed internet access to be able to participate in our virtual clinics.
